The 10 Inch and 12 Inch Omelets are a perfect size to be addition to every kitchen as these are of two the most used pans by professional or home cooks. These skillets have sloped sides so that foods slide out easily. This is best used for cooking omelets, pancakes, quesadillas, sauteing vegetables, searing steaks, fish and poultry.

Like all Calphalon Contemporary Nonstick cookware, the pans feature exclusive heavy-gauge, hard-anodized aluminum exteriors with nonstick interiors for fast, even heating (no hot spots to worry about). In addition, the cookware provides riveted handles that stay cool to the touch, thanks in part to the heat-diffusing V-shape where the handle attaches to the pan.

The pans feature broad, wide bases with gently sloped slides that make it easy to flip food or slide it effortlessly from the pan to a plate. In addition to omelets, the pans can also be used to make anything from silver-dollar pancakes and scrambled eggs to fried tofu to throw into an Asian-inspired dish.

These 2 set pans works well in my kitchen, they are nonstick and food is cooked evenly and pan seem to retain its heat during cooking process even when lid is not constantly on. I found it best to use medium to medium low heat when cooking on these calphalon pans. It is not necessary but if you like season a bit with olive oil and re-wash. I love making eggs dishes such as omelet or scrmbled eggs on these pan, nothing sticks and I almost feel like a professional chef when cooking with these frying pans. We have been using it for 2 years and so far no scratches or break down has happened. If I need to ever buy another frying pan, I will surely buy these set again, as it is reasonably priced, great quality. Only thing to watch out for is not to put it in dishwasher, I quickly easier handwash easily.
